With that in mind, Westport, CT-based Westbury Group, one of the largest investment banking firms in Connecticut, is announcing the addition of Ted Yang and Robert Croddy to the firm.

The two men bring extensive experience as entrepreneurs and capital market executives – both nationally and internationally – to Westbury, which prides itself on its financial and strategic advisory services for mid-market firms with particular emphasis on technology and media, biotech pharmaceuticals and devices, and luxury brands.

Westbury Partner Jon Rubin is happy to welcome Yang and Croddy aboard.

“Ted Yang and Rob Croddy bring valuable knowledge to our team of experienced investment bankers, especially in several key verticals, including FinTech, healthcare and luxury consumer goods," said Rubin. "Their presence will enable us to expand our reach and serve clients even more effectively.”

Croddy brings to the table extensive expertise in healthcare with experience in evaluating all stages of pre-clinical and clinical medical devices and biopharma businesses. The Essex resident has worked as the lead for all stages of buy and sell side assignments for Viscogliosi Bros, LLC, a private equity investment firm, and as an analyst for a publicly traded iron ore mining company where he worked closely with the CEO on merger and acquisition initiatives.

Yang, a New Canaan resident, has founded 11 non-profit and for-profit companies – including Cantata Media, the owner of Daily Voice. He joins Westbury as a managing director. Previously Yang has served as CTO and in leadership positions at leading banks and funds including Ultra Capital, Citigroup, Tudor, Citadel and Bridgewater.

"Westbury is known as a bank that really goes above and beyond," said Yang. "And I'm excited to join an organization like that.

“We are excited to have Rob and Ted join the Westbury team,” stated Bryan MacDonald, Partner of Westbury. “I have known Ted professionally for a while and both he and Rob bring a strong track record of getting deals done.”
